Composite Images

For this project I thought of what I liked most. Snowboarding happens to be one of my favorite things to do when I can. That thought brought me to steven's pass, where I did much of my snowboarding while stationed in Washington state. I wanted to encompass that aspect and show a transition to summer when you can enjoy other activities. I then worked on another image that I thought of while making the snowboarding one. Travel is something I enjoy doing. I wanted to display a similar vehicle to the one I drive and places I could go or have been to. Every window, including mirrors display a different place. It was a feeling of adventure that led me to make that image. I was then showing off my work to a friend, when a separate friend had just posted a new profile picture. I guess inspiration was already flowing because I took the image and created the last image. From conversations we have had previously I melded them together into the composite. I have gotten good feedback from my friends about it. Later, and after reading a comment on my previous assignment I decided to add a little more to the snowboarding image, which came with the chair lift, helicopter, and glider. For all the images I used a lot of black masks to get all the images to flow. I then started messing with hue masks, which led to more work on previous composite images. All in all, I am pleased with my first real photoshop attempts. I learned a bit along the way.
